ACS Certification (National Health Standard Certification) is a mandatory certification of the French Ministry of Health for all products in contact with population drinking water. The test requirements mainly refer to the standards published by the French Standards Association AFNOR (French Association for Standardization).
The French Ministry of Health (Health) requires health audits and testing of pipes and sanitary products (such as bathroom faucets or kitchen faucets) to enter France to prove that the product does not change the sensory, chemical and microbial characteristics of the water, in addition, to ensure the absolute safety of the entire water supply system, the revised law adds other indicators, such as pesticides and related products, foreign substances and toxic substances (heavy metals, etc.).After the product meets the relevant standards, the ACS health certificate will be issued and can be sold in French customs after passing.
